Explosif is still built up, but is in storage at a friends place, I need to collect it when my ankle is up to walking again.

With the proper circuit the dynamo will produce 5v at .5A, so basically the same as the output from a PC USB socket. The bike needs to be running at about 8mph to do that.

In practice I could run the phone all day on the Kona running the SatNav and tracker apps and it would still be fully charged by the end of the ride.

I took the Hercules out for a little bimble earlier, I only did about 4 miles, but it is still a nice ride, slow and relaxed.

That is interesting that it does that, handy when out touring on bike.

Hercules is a relaxing ride then, it good for the ankle?

I don't think its doing any harm, so I'll carry on with small rides for a while.
